The 2026 Ford F-550 has revved into Saskatchewan - and it’s bringing turbocharged capability. Boasting a segment-defining 6.7L diesel engine suite, this chassis cab dominates every payload demand.
2026 Ford F-550 Super Duty: Engine Specs
Offered on the new F-550 is a 6.7L OHV diesel V8. Crafted from a blend of compacted graphite iron and steel, this block proves ready to impress - generating up to 330 HP and 950 lb.-ft of torque. An integrated turbocharger enhances the power-band, while a 10-speed automatic transmission complements every rev (it features six custom drive-modes to assure optimal performance outputs as conditions change. These include Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Trail, Off-Road, and Slippery). A high-pressure fuel injection system allows for superior atomization, and the inclusion of glow plugs assures seamless ignition sequencing during cold weather.
Ford has painstakingly crafted this engine to accommodate long-haul demands - and it enables the 2025 F-550 to achieve up to 40,000 pounds of gooseneck trailering.
