Ford Truck News For Saskatchewan
Interior view of the 2024 Ford F-350 King Ranch, with leather seats, the dashboard, and steering wheel displayed.Redefine your commercial expectations.

Though the 2024 Ford F-350 King Ranch impresses with its V8 engine suite - a class-leading 7.3L 2V DEVCT block that generates up to 430 HP and 485 lb.-ft of torque - it offers more than power to Saskatchewan drivers. It also promises comfort, boasting a premium interior that will counter even the roughest roads. Prepare for a new kind of Super Duty experience.

2024 Ford F-350 King Ranch: Interior

Slide inside the new F-350 King Ranch and discover luxury. The available Kingsville Antique Leather material assures superior comfort, delivering refined textures; while the seats boast two-way lumbar support and eight-way power adjusters to create the perfect position for each passenger. Heating and ventilation technologies are directly integrated into the cushions (proving a perfect complement to the dual-zone automatic temperature controls); and a multi-contour massage function further impresses.

In need of additional comfort? The 2024 F-350 King Ranch offers Max Recline seating, which allows for increased support (extending the chair’s lower back to allow for near-horizontal suspension). Riders can now indulge in - rather than dread - long journeys.

In the world of V8 performance it does - and Ford fully embraces this with the release of its 2024 F-350 Platinum. This Super Duty model delivers segment-leading power, effortlessly adapting to trailering demands and leaving its GMC 3500 competitor in the dust.

2024 Ford F-350 Platinum: Performance

Offered on the new F-350 Platinum is a 7.3L V8. This block promises class-shattering performance, earning 430 HP and 485 lb.-ft of torque; and its 10-speed automatic transmission (complemented by Live Drive Access) assures seamless handling as payload demands change through its TorqShift functionality. This translates to impressive power, with the truck able to achieve up to 19,200 pounds of conventional trailering.

The 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali proves less dynamic.

Anchored by a 6.6L V8, this truck generates a mere 401 HP and 464 lb.-ft of torque. This will leave drivers struggling to accommodate rough terrain and payloads alike - with only 16,000 pounds of conventional trailering available. The compromise will be keenly felt.

With the unveiling of the 2023 F-350 Lariat Ford injected commercial-grade performance into each task - allowing Lloydminster drivers to dominate long-hauls and everyday errands with equal ease. It also promised to leave the competition shattered.

The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD LTZ was no exception.

2023 Ford F-350 Lariat: Performance

Available on the 2023 F-350 Lariat is a 6.7L PowerStroke diesel engine. This high-output option delivers staggering power, generating up to 500 HP and 1,200 lb.-ft of torque. A single turbocharger (assisted by in-block cams and overhead valves) assures smooth performance, while the variable geometry induction system is mated to a charge air cooler. A high-pressure common-rail configuration amplifies fuel distribution, and a 250-amp alternator is also included.

Compare this to the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. The 3500 HD LTZ also features an available diesel engine. Its output, however, fails to inspire - with the Duramax 6.6L block earning only 445 HP and 910 lb.-ft of torque. The loss of V8 power will leave drivers struggling to accommodate heavy hauls.

A field, fence, and blue sky are shown in the background.Adventure awaits in Saskatchewan - and the 2023 F-350 King Ranch will ensure you can find it. Rev from the work-site to the backroads with help from the available Tremor Package.

2023 Ford F-350: Tremor Package

Offered on the new King Ranch is an all-terrain upgrade. The Tremor Package promises exceptional performance on rough roads, fusing the 4x4 drivetrain with unique front springs (to enhance ride height) and a rear electronic locking differential. 18-inch aluminum wheels pair with 35-inch LT285/75R18 tires; custom shock absorbers lessen friction; and integrated air dams help to improve the approach angle.

To further assure off-road domination, the Tremor Package introduces two new performance modes - Rock Crawl and Trail Control. These regulate the output of the V8 engine, precisely monitoring speed, braking, and throttle responses to ensure smooth handling on rough terrain. Take full advantage of the 10-speed automatic transmission to achieve peerless power.

2023 Ford F-350 King Ranch: Tremor Package Requirements

To upgrade the new F-350 with the Tremor Package drivers must meet certain requirements, including: selecting a 4x4 drivetrain, a Crew Cab configuration, and a 7.3L V8 or a 6.7L high-output PowerStroke diesel engine suite.
