Ford Truck News For Saskatchewan
A silver 2024 Ford F-350 Limited shown in profile and parked in front of commercial silos.Super-sized payloads demand Super Duty performance.

The 2024 Ford F-350 Limited injects the commercial market with exceptional power - delivering a class-defining 6.7L high-output diesel engine to Saskatchewan. Achieve turbocharged strength with every rev, and sail past the competition (including the new GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali Ultimate).

2024 Ford F-350 Limited: Diesel Specs

Available on the new F-350 Limited is a 6.7L PowerStroke diesel engine. This 90-degree V8 yields a staggering 500 HP (at 2,600 RPM) and 1,200 lb-ft of torque (at 1,600 RPM). It has been tailored for superior performance, blending a turbocharger, in-block cams, and a high-pressure common-rail fuel system; while an integrated air charge cooler regulates temperature control. A 10-speed automatic transmission completes the suite.

The 2024 F-350 Limited brings segment-leading power to Saskatchewan - and it leaves the new GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali Ultimate thoroughly overwhelmed.

Despite also featuring a diesel engine - a 6.6L V8 - the Denali Ultimate delivers a mere 470 HP and 975 lb.-ft of torque. This, when combined with its heavier curb weight (8,738 pounds versus the Limited’s 7,868 pounds), undermines performance and leaves drivers less than impressed.

Available on the new F-350 fleet - which includes the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited - is the FordPass Connect system. This innovative suite transforms the Super Duty into a mobile hot-spot, allowing Saskatchewan drivers to more efficiently plan their payloads and navigate job-site demands. Go Further with 5G convenience.

What Is FordPass Connect?

Anchoring the new F-350’s digital suite is FordPass Connect. Offered as a companion to SYNC 4, this mobile app promises seamless travels in Saskatchewan, controlling everyday metrics with the press of a button. It can be downloaded directly to the driver’s smartphone or computer, proving compatible with Android and Apple software; and its intuitive interface allows for quick access to exclusive services.

Remotely power your vehicle when using the app (and take advantage of the available scheduling function to create a recurring start time). Control the locking mechanisms via your phone, and access crucial performance numbers - including odometer readings, fuel levels, and driving distances - at a glance. Navigate city streets and backroads alike, taking advantage of real-time road reports and traffic monitoring; and struggle no more with endless paperwork, utilizing the integrated Digital Glove Box feature. This compiles all key documentation, such as your warranty and owner’s manual, and places them in a centralized search hub.

To further enhance your travel experience, the FordPass Connect system offers a wi-fi hot-spot - which can power up to 10 devices at once. Achieve a wireless radius of up to 50-feet and stay in control of your content.

The 2024 Ford F-350 XL proves its worth beyond payloads (though, its 6.8L V8 will thrill with its available 405 HP and 445 lb.-ft of torque). It also delivers a premium interior experience - lessening the strain of even the longest hauls and besting its GMC 3500 Tradesman competitor.

2024 Ford F-350 XL: Interior Specs

With the release of the new F-350 XL Ford brings ample space to the market. The cabin affords superior comfort with its available head (40.8 inches; 40.4 inches), leg (43.9 inches; 43.6 inches), and shoulder (66.7 inches; 65.9 inches) room. The split-bench seats boast a 40/20/40 configuration, allowing for custom configurations; and the inclusion of lumbar support proves ideal for rough roads. Vinyl materials are standard to withstand the rigours of the job-site, but there is a cloth upgrade for those wanting to further enhance the ride. Three-passenger (pictured) and six-passenger interiors are offered.

The 2024 F-350 XL delivers an adaptable cabin - unlike its 2024 GMC 3500 competitor. Slide inside the Tradesman and find a less welcoming interior, with limited leg (40.9 inches; 40.2 inches) and shoulder (65.9 inches; 65.6 inches) room available. The shorter wheelbase (149.5 inches compared to the Super Duty’s 159.7 inches) will force riders to compromise on space.
