Economy is an unfamiliar concept within the pick-up world. Massive engines demand equally massive amounts of fuel - with their cavernous blocks unable to sustain even the smallest measure of power without a full-tank. This forces drivers to divide their hours between watching the gauge needle and searching for stations.
The release of the 2018 F-150 Diesel should change that.
According to US News, Ford will soon unveil its 2018 Diesel - and this platform is primed to redefine the market. Boasting a 3.0L PowerStroke engine, the F-150 will achieve an estimated 22 MPGs in the city and 28 MPGs on the highway (we do note that these numbers have not yet been confirmed but are instead generated by comparisons of the Range Rover, which shares a similar chassis build). A rear-wheel-drive will effortlessly adapt to changing inclines, promoting precise torque distribution; while the new 10-speed automatic transmission will eliminate gear strain and ensure a more fluid ride.
Through this, the F-150 will deliver a seamless driving experience - sparing North American consumers those frequent station visits.
No official release date has been given for the 2018 Diesel. Critics anticipate an early spring arrival, however, and believe that Ford will soon enter its production phase.

Too often are adventures defined by limitations - with pick-ups proving inadequate with every mile. These tiny-engined platforms falter when faced with dust and dirt; and their all-wheel promises break in the wake of sandy shores. They’re simply unable to deliver the necessary performance.
With the release of the 2018 F-150 Raptor, Ford is bringing a new sense of power to the market. Prepare for a custom Baja experience.
Ford (in partnership with GeigerCars) is launching a new Raptor. The EcoBoost HP520 will be a monstrous presence on the back-roads, delivering twin-turbo performance with every mile. Anchored by a 3.5L V6, this truck will roar past the competition - yielding more than 500 HP and 530 lb.-ft of torque. This burst of power will prove welcome in North America, allowing drivers to explore mountain inclines and ocean shores alike.
Critics note that Ford has revitalized its Raptor platform - fusing it with advanced ECU remapping and an enhanced air intake system to improve overall performance. 37-inch tires rumble across the pavement; and, when paired with the newly upgraded suspension (which boasts a four-inch lift kit), they allow this platform to effortlessly adapt to changing terrains. It’s been finely tuned for the back-roads.

Numbers never lie. This is the (unfortunate) truth that Chevrolet recently discovered - with its latest Silverado forced to combat the 2018 F-150 in a spec-driven competition. The critics were brutal; the results were undeniable; and the end of the day saw Ford earn yet another award.
According to USA Today, the 2018 Silverado was recently pitted against the F-150 - with the Edmunds team seeking to determine which platform proved best for everyday demands. While many guessed that Ford would secure the victory, none expected it to be such a one-sided race around the track. A quick glance at both platforms’ specs revealed who would win before the starting pistol ever sounded:
Economy
The 2018 F-150 easily bests the Silverado, delivering 22 MPGs (Combined) to Chevy’s 20 MPGs (Combined).
Towing
Offering a maximum trailering capacity of 13,200 pounds, the new F-150 shatters every record (and leaves the Silverado’s 12,800 pounds in the dust).
Payloads
Boasting a rugged V8, the F-150 offers up to 3,270 payload pounds - compared to the Silverado’s meager 2,250 pounds.
There is no denying that Ford’s latest F-Series platform excels in all things… and that Chevrolet has quite a bit of re-tuning to do for next year.

The next-generation of performance is on its way - with Ford soon to begin production on its 2019 F-150 Hybrid. This platform (which should arrive late next year) promises segment-shattering capability, connecting drivers to the economy they crave and the power they expect.
As Newest Hybrid Cars explains, the 2019 F-150 will deliver exceptional capability. A 2.3L EcoBoost engine will anchor the drivetrain, offering an anticipated 280 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque. An electric motor will provide enhanced efficiency, instantly engaging when the platform slows to less than 20 MPH (this feature is currently shared on the Transit Connect Hybrid and serves as a way to reduce overall emissions in areas where traffic is both heavy and slow); and a 10-speed automatic transmission will further improve performance, ensuring seamless gear-to-gear changes.
This will be no traditional hybrid. Instead Ford will connect drivers to premium power - and, while no official MPG specs have been provided, critics expect the platform will achieve (at least) a 10% overall economy increase. Waste no more time at the pump.

It’s a rare sight. You watch as a pick-up roars down the track - spitting exhaust with every quarter-mile, shaking the pavement with each spin of its tires. It dominates the road, forcing all competitors to follow far behind; and it sets a pace that can’t be matched by even the quickest hot-hatch.
According to AutomobileMag, Ford has just premiered its latest SuperCab. The 2018 F-150 XLT - which recently rolled onto the SEMA stage - is ready for the track. Its 2.7L EcoBoost V6 yields an estimated 325 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. While these performance ratios alone aren’t enough to secure a first-place finish, the aftermarket package (provided by RK Sport) certainly is. Black Forgiata Technica wheels crush every obstacle; while the inclusion of a functional ram air hood helps to maintain precise air intake levels, keeping the powertrain cool through every mile. A re-tuned suspension further delights race-fans, offering peerless stability and control; and a 10-speed transmission delivers optimized responses. Expect total circuit domination.
This is no ordinary pick-up. It deserves, therefore, a style that’s just as distinct. To catch the attention of every driver, Ford has fused the 2018 XLT with a custom two-tone tires and striping details. There will be no mistaking this platform as it races past.

Las Vegas is quiet now - with the streets emptied of SEMA banners and concept cars, the lights flickering in neon exhaustion. Throughout November the city played host the world’s premier automotive event; and it needs time to recuperate from the endless engine revs and exhaust bursts.
The Novlan team has no such luxury. Instead we must report the latest F-150 news - connecting our customers to the best in half-ton performance and aftermarket possibilities.
Among those possibilities is the 2018 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew. Ford recently premiered this pick-up at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, delivering staggering performance to the North American market. Anchored by a 3.5L EcoBoost, this truck roars down the highway. A 10-speed automatic transmission yields fluid cornering, while a rear spoiler and distinct hood scoop improve aerodynamics. Fender vents help to decrease drag, and the CAD-designed ports enhance air intake levels.
When these elements combine, they allow the 2018 F-150 Lariat to rush past the competition - with power ratios expected to exceed 375 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque. Direct-injection technology, roller finger valve operations, and the inclusion of custom sport modes will further impress.
With the release of the 2018 Lariat, Ford is delivering a best-in-class powerhouse - and we can’t wait to see this pick-up on our lot! To learn more contact us today.
The record seemed carved in chrome - with the Ford F-Series racing to the top of the charts in 2005, generating an astounding 734,610 total units. No other brand had ever secured such a high number; and even Ford itself struggled to keep pace with this pick-up frenzy. The years that followed were undeniably profitable but they failed to reach the heights of this one long summer.
This may soon change.
According to The Detroit Free Press, Ford is racing (once again) toward a record. Its 2017 F-Series - anchored by the ever-popular F-150 - has already secured 658,636 total sales for the year. This represents a strong 38% of the entire pick-up market and it also has many critics wondering whether the Big Blue Oval can finally surpass its 2005 victory. Two months still remain to secure less than 100,000 units; and, should the current pace continue, this will prove an easy feat.
The F-Series reigns on the North American charts - effortlessly surpassing Chevrolet (24% of total sales), Dodge (22% of total sales), and GM (9% of total sales). It’s the only pick-up collection that has managed to generate a profit with every month, and its consumer interest level has never been higher. This, Ford believes, should lead it to a new sales milestone.
What do you think? Will the F-Series finally rev past its 2005 predecessors? Share your opinions with our team today!
In 2004 Ford introduced drivers to its F-150 SVT - a supercharged beast that delivered best-in-class performance. It boasted both a 5.0L V8 Triton engine and a sport-tuned suspension, ensuring quick speeds on the backroads; and it had no equal.
It still doesn’t.
According to The Drive, a 2004 F-150 SVT found its way onto the starting line of the Haltech World Cup Finals. This pick-up - now cobbled together with a series of aftermarket add-ons, such as a Bennet Racing V8 and a M&M turbocharged transmission - bore little resemblance to its factory form. It still managed, however, to carry on a tradition of excellence… by defeating a Dodge Challenger!
The Drive explains that the F-150 was pitted against Dodge’s latest SRT. None expected such a burly truck to keep pace with this slick speedster - and, yet, the track was soon forced to yield to the rumble of 1,900 HP. The Ford pick-up dominated the race, blazing from 0 to 60 in a mere 2.3 seconds! It revved past the quarter-mile mark in just 7 seconds and it left the Challenger in the dust.
A stunned silence greeted the SVT as it crossed the finish line, with critics and spectators alike baffled by this sudden show of power. We wish we had been there. We would’ve cheered on the truck through every engine rev.

Prepare for a new generation of power - with Ford delivering its 2018 F-150 VelociRaptor to the North American market. This monster will leave all competitors trembling in the dust, promising more than 600 HP on the backroads.
According to Motoring, Ford has just revealed its latest F-Series behemoth. The 2018 VelociRaptor - a specialty platform engineered in partnership with Hennessey - will soon dominate the off-road market, delivering a bold style that will defy all expectations. Six wheels anchor the chassis. Don’t adjust your screens, Alberta drivers: that number is correct. A dynamic tri-row tire design defines this truck, utilizing 20-inch frames and wide alloy rims to maximize height. Class-shattering ground clearance is now guaranteed.
To further impress, Ford has bolstered this beast with a front-mounted intercooler and a stainless steel exhaust system - each working to improve air ratios and lessen the strain of the burly twin-turbo V6 engine. A rear locking differential improves stability, while electronic traction control enhances the AWD.
When these elements combine, they allow the new F-150 to achieve a staggering 660 HP on every trail - making this the undisputed king of UTEs.

With the end of October comes a series of numbers - those third-quarter margins and year-to-year comparisons. Automotive brands reveal this successes (and failures) to the world, and black ink charts out every profit.
Thanks to the venerable F-Series, Ford has managed to snag most of those profits for itself.
According to The Detroit Free Press, Ford has just unveiled its third-quarter earnings - and they far exceed expectations. The brand's worldwide revenue rose to a staggering $36.5 billion, while its stock shares soared 39 cents. This represents a pre-tax profit of more than $2 billion - allowing the Big Blue Oval to easily best its competition.
What caused such a sudden margin rise? Critics attribute the release of the 2018 F-Series. This half-ton collection (anchored by the F-150 and F-250) has struck a V6 chord with drivers, with each truck yielding a $2,300 profit per sale. This - when coupled with the leap in performance package purchases - has allowed Ford to grow its overall revenue and silence any detractors.
The 2018 F-Series has bolstered the Big Blue Oval, delivering record-breaking sales for the year. We anticipate that this trend will continue when the fourth quarter arrives - with drivers seeking best-in-class trailering, performance, and speed.
