Hail to the king. The Big Blue Oval now reigns supreme over its competitors - with both its 2021 F-150 and 2021 Super Duty delivering massive gains during the final quarter of last year.

According to Ford Authority, the 2021 F-150 dethroned Toyota’s venerable Tundra as the ‘most considered brand among consumers’ (along with securing a Best Full-Size Pickup award from Kelley Blue Book). It was then joined on the list by its Super Duty sibling, which scored third overall with shoppers.

Novlan Bros isn’t surprised. The 2021 F-150 has proven a powerhouse, generating up to 450 HP and 570 lb.-ft of torque. Its 11,300-pound conventional trailering output accommodates daily driving demands with ease; while its 10-speed automatic transmission yields superior control on rough terrain.

Likewise, the 2021 Super Duty line-up delivers dynamic capability - boasting a staggering 37,000 pounds of towing, a payload capacity of 7,850 pounds, and an available 1,050 lb.-ft of torque. To further impress, this fleet has been paired with a best-in-class GCWR of 45,300 pounds to maximize performance options.

With the end of the year comes good tidings and countless accolades. Ford is celebrating the season with yet another victory for its 2021 F-150  - earning the Top Rated Truck award from Edmunds.

According to Ford Authority, the 2021 F-150 recently secured another title to add to its already impressive collection (which includes Kelley Blue Book’s Best Full-Size Truck and Ward’s Best Interiors). The notable critics at Edmunds have deemed it the pick-up of the year - with particular praise given to its performance capabilities and tech upgrades.

The Novlan team isn’t surprised. The 2021 F-150 has proven a consumer favourite, with Saskatchewan drivers utilizing its class-leading towing (up to 11,300 pounds when properly equipped) to dominate cargo. The aluminum-alloy steel frame - which has been painstakingly heat-treated to withstand both the elements and payload demands - delivers high-strength performance; while available off-road features assure seamless control. Take advantage of custom-tuned shock absorbers, integrated skid plates, and an optional locking rear differential to accommodate every turn. This pick-up promises superior power, with its standard 18-inch wheels rolling over any challenge.

Too often does speed prove a luxury within the heavy-duty market - with big-bodied pick-ups unable to deliver quick accelerations and smooth responses. The 2021 F-150, however, proves the exception to the rule; and Novlan Bros. is thrilled to connect drivers to its award-winning capabilities.

According to Ford Authority, the new F-150 is the quickest pick-up in its segment. When equipped with the PowerBoost engine suite - a 3.5L V6 engine that yields up to 430 HP and 570 lb.-ft of torque - this platform can achieve a 0 to 60 MPH run of 6.3 seconds. This allows it to ably best its top competitors, the Nissan Titan (6.7 seconds) and the Toyota Tundra (6.7 seconds); and it assures a first-place finish on the track and the highway alike.

The 2021 F-150 PowerBoost has been meticulously designed - with Ford fusing it with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a dynamic fuel delivery system (port and direct injection). This assures seamless responses, allowing the truck to smoothly accelerate. An aluminum block precisely conducts heat, while roller finger followers bolster valve operations. The result is a class-leading platform that can dominate the competition.

Class-leading performance now pairs with award-winning protection - with the 2021 Ford F-150 earning Top Pick recognition from the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). Navigate every Saskatchewan road with ease, courtesy of this premier pick-up.

According to Car and Driver, the new F-150 was recently propelled past the competition - achieving the Top Pick status that so few trucks manage. Due to a revised headlamp system (which includes automatic high-beams, rain-activated wipers, and optional complementary LED mirror-mounted spotlights), the Ford platform was deemed a superior option for Saskatchewan; and it revved through each IIHS category with ease, scoring the coveted Good rating for front crash prevention (both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian).

In addition to its new headlamps, the 2021 F-150 offers ample support on the highway - blending AdvanceTrac stability with Curve Control technology. Four-wheel anti-lock brakes assure smooth stoppage, while available cross-traffic alerts monitor approaching obstacles with precision (automatically detecting sudden changes in speed or trajectory). These features then pair with the standard Safety Canopy suite, which includes side-curtain and seat-mounted airbags to afford comprehensive protection in the wake of a crash.

The 2021 F-150 delivers more than V6 performance to Saskatchewan. Instead it offers award-winning safety. To learn more about its available features contact Novlan Bros. today.
With the release of the 2021 F-150 Hybrid Ford brings more than efficiency to Alberta. Instead it delivers premium tech - offering the SYNC 4 system to drivers. This suite (which serves as an upgrade to the much-beloved 3 model) will redefine interfacing on the backroads.

According to TechCrunch, the new F-150 Hybrid has been fitted with the SYNC 4 media centre. Anchored by either a standard 8-inch touchscreen or a massive 12-inch display, this system provides seamless engagements - blending high-resolution designs with voice-activated commands. Wireless connectivity assures quick access to both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while a cloud-based network feeds key information (including available software upgrades and maintenance updates) directly to the user. SiriusXM with 360L bolsters entertainment options, affording hundreds of custom channels; and 18 B&O speakers yield superior sound, filling the cabin with 1,080 watts of power.

To further impress Ford has paired the SYNC 4 system with a wi-fi hot-spot - allowing it to keep up to 10 devices linked to the Internet. Connect with smartphones, tablets, and more.

The virtual world has just collided with reality - with Ford unveiling its F-150 Rocket League Edition. This Raptor variant (which is based upon the popular video game, in which demolition derby combines with soccer) recently debuted at the Chicago Auto Show; and fans were stunned to see a digital-inspired masterpiece rev onto the stage.

According to Car and Driver, this 2021 F-150 is an exclusive collaboration between Ford and the creators of Rocket League, bringing the in-game F-Series design to the real world; and it’s yielded a striking result. The Raptor body proves rugged, accentuated with thick arches and drop-down windows; while a revised grille anchors the front, offering a custom emblem. The profile is highlighted in bright green, and C-shaped tail-lamps flank the rear gate.

Most impressive is the use of (fake) rocket launchers - which are mounted in the bed and perfectly harken to the game’s unusual premise. This is the ultimate pick-up for tech fans.

Alas, it’s not going to become a highway staple. Car and Driver reports that Ford intends this ride to be used purely for promotional purposes - disappointing critics and gamers alike.

What do you think of the F-150 Rocket League Edition? Should Ford make a real-world version? Share your opinion about this exclusive pick-up with our team today.

The 2021 F-150 is simplifying the cargo process - enabling Alberta drivers to immediately assess, and correct, bed-weight with digital precision.

According to AutoBlog, the new F-150 will soon unveil its Onboard Scales feature. Sensors will be mounted into the bed, automatically calculating every pound. They will then feed the information into the SYNC 4 media console (as well as the FordPass app), allowing drivers to keep track of their payloads with greater efficiency. Additionally, LED light-bars will be integrated into the rear tail-lamps. These will engage when extra cargo is added - delivering a four-position scale that will raise or lower in relation to the total amount of weight. If the truck’s capacity is exceeded, these bulbs will blink rapidly so that adjustments can be made.

Through this, drivers can take advantage of the F-150’s available payload performance of 2,238 pounds - without pushing the truck beyond its limits. This assures a safer cargo experience, and it enables superior control.

The Onboard Scales feature should debut in June. To learn more about it contact our team today - and don’t forget to schedule a test-drive in one of our available F-150 models.

In the battle for payload performance two competitors loom - the 2021 Ford F-150 and the 2021 Ram 1500. Both promise exceptional strength, allowing Alberta drivers to confidently respond to every work-site demand; but only one can prove the ultimate half-ton option.

Auto Evolution says it’s an easy victory for Ford.

After extensive testing, Auto Evolution discovered that the new F-150 delivered superior strength to the 1500 in both towing and payload capabilities:

Ford F-150

Maximum Trailering: 6,350-kg (14,000 pounds)
Maximum Payload: 1,508-kg (3,325 pounds)

Ram 1500

Maximum Trailering: 5,783-kg (12,759 pounds)
Maximum Payload: 1,043-kg (2,300 pounds)

To achieve such high ratings, Ford pairs its F-150 with a 3.5L V6 engine. This suite - which generates 400 HP and 500 lb.-ft of torque - assures dynamic performance. Roller finger followers enhance sequencing, while port-fuel and direct-injection systems optimize resource delivery. Additionally, a 10-speed automatic transmission (complete with three overdrive gears and wide spacing) affords crisp control. Through this, the truck can effortlessly dominate its 1500 competitor.
