It seems the most unlikely of competitions - with the 2018 F-Series pitting itself against social media giant Facebook. Both are ready to reveal their revenues for 2017; and Alberta critics snicker in disbelief, certain that Ford will (finally) find itself at a disadvantage. While the Big Blue Oval may dominate the half-ton market, it simply can't outperform the world's largest online network.

Can it?

According to The Detroit Free Press, it most certainly can. The venerable news site has just reported that - in 2017 -Â the F-Series generated a staggering $41.25 billion. This fleet of trucks (which includes the F-150, F-250, and F-350) left all competitors behind, including Facebook (which earned $40 billion, respectively).

How is such a feat possible? In an interview with The Detroit Free Press, Erich Merkle (a Ford analyst) said: On average, we'll sell about two F-Series pickup trucks every minute. By the time you've finished this article you're reading right now, we've sold another one."

The Novlan team isn't surprised. The 2018 F-Series has proven an unstoppable force on our lot, delivering best-in-class towing (21,000 pounds when properly equipped) and exceptional power (up to 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque). The inclusion of a new 10-speed automatic transmission further propels sales, providing our customers with the seamless gear ratios they crave. It blends a crisp low-to-mid range capability, quickly engaging the SelectShift functionality to improve performance.

It's no wonder that Facebook can't keep up!
