It was no easy feat - with the 2018 F-150 forced to endure a grueling series of tasks, pitting itself against the environment and other half-ton platforms. Its performance ratios were tested; its trailering capabilities were pushed to the limits; and… it secured an undisputed victory.

The NY Daily News has just declared the 2018 F-150 to be the Best Pick-Up Truck in North America!


The NY team recently sought to discover the most powerful platform in North America. To do this, it created an all-terrain course that would test the capabilities of every major model. Ford’s beloved pick-up (naturally) revved to a first-place finish.

Anchored by a standard 3.3L V6, this truck delivers 290 HP. Its lightweight aluminum design ensures seamless handling, maximizing the available 10-speed automatic transmission and decreasing engine strain (fuel can more easily circulate, generating 18 MPGs in the city and 23 MPGs on the highway). An AWD yields deft responses on even the rockiest roads, while a reinforced steel underbody accommodates every payload. When properly equipped, this model promises up to 3,720-pounds of cargo-box hauling.

Compromise proves a thing of the past.

The 2018 F-150 has just been named the Best Truck on the market - and we know that the only one to usurp this title will be its 2019 successor.
