That, The Drive argues, would deliver access to a base model - which should include a twin-turbo engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and an AWD. A sport-tuned suspension is also anticipated to ensure superior off-roading.

A 115-volt outlet rests just beyond the passenger door, providing ample power for tools and off-road toys; while the exhaust valve has been moved to the underbody to create a more efficient rear track (this will increase overall ground clearance by up to two inches). The C-Pillar also features unique buttresses, which showcase the newly elongated profile and lend the fenders more depth.
What should most impress drivers, however, is the anticipated powertrain. While no official specs have been confirmed, many critics believe that the WildTrak will feature a Duratec engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering performance similar to Ford’s T6 platform.
