3320 PHD - Wing Caster Wheel Packages
Full Double Caster Wheel Package
The double caster wheel package offers the flotation and support of dual tires at an economical price. The set-back axle keeps the caster steering stable and uniform in most field conditions.

Full Double Walking Caster Wheel Package
The Walking axle option has the same dual tires as the simple double wheel, with the added smooth ride. The weight is distributed 55% on the rear tire and 45% on the front, giving it an advantage to walk out of soft condtions. The added depth of the walking axle assembly also adds steering stability if the drill is running at an angle to previous drill runs.

Hi-Flotation Package
Refer to the 3320 Hi-Flotation web page for detailed information.

3320 PHD - Rear Duals Options
As an option, you can select dual rear wheels on the wings (main frame dual wheels are standard). The 3320 model in the 66ft, 76 ft, & 86ft sizes come standard with dual wheels on the inner wing rear arm.
This adds an additional wheel and hub/spindle assembly. This will typically be selected by the customer when the conditions can be quite soft and wet. This provides excellent flotation when the openers are out of the ground and these wheels are carrying the drills weight.

3320 PHD - Hydraulic Requirements
Recommended Flow Requirements:
Hydraulic flow requirements are highest when turning on the headlands. The recommended flow allows the seeding system to be raised and lowered within two headlands. It should be noted that the recommended fan requirements are for the maximum operational speed (RPM) of the fan.

Minimum Hydraulic Flow Requirements:
Recommended hydraulic flow should provide minimal fan slowdown during headland turns.  The openers will take hydraulic flow priority over the fans.
If operating at minimum flow requirements, the air seeder fans will drop a minimum of 20% during headland turns.  This may require a 3rd headland to allow the openers time to raise and lower.
In typical operating conditions one or both fans are operating at less than maximum output levels, which will reduce hydraulic requirements.
FLOW REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM GPM
RECOMMENDED GPM
DEPTH CIRCUIT (10" spacing with MRB) 20 30
DEPTH CIRCUIT (10" spacing without MRB) 15 22
DEPTH CIRCUIT (12" spacing with MRB) 18 25
DEPTH CIRCUIT (12" spacing without MRB) 13 18

Pressure Requirements:
With many tractors, maximum hydraulic flow drops off sharply prior to maximum operating pressure. By setting the tractor to a pressure setting of 3100 psi the hydraulic flow will be near the rated output at the maximum operating pressure.
The 3320 Paralink Hoe Drill has a minimum and recommended operating pressure of 2500 psi.
Coupler Requirements:
A ½” coupler is only rated for flow rates of 12 gpm.  As flow increases beyond this value, a large pressure drop is created across the couplers which in turn increases pressure requirements. The durability of the ½” couplers can also be compromised when operating at high flow rates.
It is recommended to use ¾” couplers on the tractor and implement, as this will greatly reduce the pressure drops and will increase the flow of oil to the fan or opener cylinders.
